Day School

Elpis College welcomes both local and international students for full-time study at our day school.

• Term 1: September – November
• Term 2: November – January
• Term 3: February – April
• Term 4: April – June

Elpis College has four terms instead of the usual two semesters or three terms. Students take one course in the morning (9:30–12:00) and one course after lunch (12:45–3:15), which means they only need to focus on two subjects at a time. By the end of Term 2, students will have earned four credits just like students in semestered schools; by the end of the school year, then, they will have earned eight credits.

How does this benefit students? Class times are longer, so teachers and students can cover topics more fluidly. Plus, because they are only focusing on two subjects rather than four or eight, students can more easily manage their time when it comes to completing assignments and studying for tests.
